Monthly Challenge
This month’s challenge is to REFLECT & RESET!
Most of us start the year pumped and excited for big changes to come. But let’s be honest, by the time Summer rolls around… how much are we still thinking about our big plans?
It’s never too late to get things in motion again. Here are some tips to get you started:
1. Reflect! It starts with thinking back to what we wanted for ourselves at the beginning of the year. One of the biggest reasons we don’t reach our goals is because sometimes they’re just too many of them. Pick one main thing that matters to you most and focus on that for the rest of the year.
2. Write it down! We don’t realize that when something is just in our heads there’s a lot of missing pieces. Writing it all down in full sentences forces us to articulate what we want and fill in those missing gaps on how to get there.
3. Tell someone! For whatever reason, most of us have trouble keeping the promises that we make to ourselves. Telling others your plans adds a layer of accountability that could help you get to where you want to be.
4. Reset! Give yourself permission to start fresh. A clean slate creates space to experiment, change direction, and try something different this time around.

A little Dashing Date history lesson…
2012: We started out in Montreal and quickly expanded to several big cities!
2014: Our beautiful capital, Ottawa, came next.
2015: We launched in Toronto and Vancouver on Valentine’s Day.
And… Calgary was last (but not least!) to join the club during Summer later that year.
