Life Stage: Curious & Courageous
Age group: 24-34

Generally, in this Life Stage, you’ll meet other young ambitious professionals excited to explore the dating scene. They mostly date online but are tired of swiping and want to step out from behind the screen. Based on our previous events, you can expect to meet women ages 24-32 and men ages 26-34 in this Life Stage.

Sens House: Centrally located in the ByWard Market, Sens House is a warm, welcoming spot with a private upstairs space and floor to ceiling windows, just perfect for an evening of speed dating! Guests attending this event will enjoy a completely private area exclusive to Dashing Date members only. Address: Located at 73 York St, Ottawa, ON K1N 5T2 (upstairs).

There is a dress code. Think ‘classy, chic, and elegant’, like what you would wear on a dinner date that you’re excited about!

Women: Pants, jeans or a skirt paired with a nice top or evening blouse works well. Dresses are fun too!

Men: A crisp collared shirt with pants or jeans is a great look! Blazers and ties are welcome.

Pro Tip: Make a sincere effort, it won’t go unnoticed! It’s also important to be yourself and to be comfortable, so we recommend an outfit that helps you feel confident while also looking your best. Just remember, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Our events bring together 14-24 guests in total, which means that you will meet 7 to 12 people of the opposite sex. We’re all about quality over quantity.

If you fall outside of the advertised age range but fit the Life Stage, you can still participate. However, if it’s above or below by more than two years, we recommend checking with us first.
